Eternal Enchantment was originally a small site dedicated to sharing limited amounts of manga through online reading. However, we've expanded significantly since then. We now host hundreds of manga through downloads & online reading, ensuring that visitors can always access the mangas they want.

Enchantment Scans is our own scanlation group, translating and editing their own releases. All releases are made by fans, for fans. They are for the purpose of promoting knowledge and love of manga and their respective artists. They do not in any way replace the original works themselves.

Enchanting Whispers, our Forum, is a discussion place for our members to relieve whatever tidbits of information they'd like to share. It is also a place where they can share manga, anime, dramas, and etc. We hope to promote a fun, lively atmosphere for everyone - so head over and meet other members!

The Graphics sub-site is not yet up, but we are working to expand even further. Stay tuned!

Eternal Enchantment officially started on November 10, 2005. We started with a Geocities hosting, working from scratch with nearly no coding experience and two staff members. We build on little by little and eventually attracted enough people to stretch our bandwidth to the limit. When we started to fail by the hour, we decided it was time to switch hosts.

Hostanime.com provided a great package for us and that was where we stayed until we purchased our own domain name at eternal-enchantment.net .

Version I: This was such a long time ago that I seriously don't remember (and can't find). But it was a pink one - and huge, with navigation on both sides and stretching through the whole screen. I had serious trouble with the coding since it was poorly made. Needless to say, it didn't last long.
 

Version II [Winter Dreams]: One of those layouts that are not pink. Looking back, I'm starting to think white is the way to go. It's easy on the eyes and still really pretty. I just happen to find that Table layouts suit me better. Divs (like this one) looks a bit messy.

Version VI [Fairytales]: Designed by DragonRain. Ironically, this layout never made it fully up. I absolutely loved it, but the banner gave me headaches. After 4 hours of editing in Photoshop, I realized too late that I messed up on the background. Since we were moving to a new domain, I just threw away that layout and dug up a new one. Here's the banner that never made it up.

Version VII [HideAway]: Designed by Aethereality. This layout didn't see the light of day. Before it was even fully transferred, people complained that it was different and plain. So because of its "plain-ness", it was scratched - and a new one was put up.
