Welcome at

So…blogging…I confess I’ve been terrible at my previous blogs, the worst case being the creation of my xanga account and my immediate abadonnement of it…in fact, I don’t even remember my username, password, or domain for it anymore =/ But since Enchantment set this up, may as well use it…not to mention I love all of you guys out there! =]

I’m happy to say that I had a very enjoyable birthday Friday xD Thanks to everyone who gave me birthday wishes! In case you’re wondering, or forgot to check the Forum, I’m 17 now! But still no license…^^;; I’m in no hurry, so it’s fine.

So this is sorta how my day went. My parents presented me with my gift in the morning, a beautiful pearl/crystal necklace with a pendant made of seashell, and a red packet with cash. I cut my cake for breakfast. It is vanilla with chocolate pudding, white frosting, and chocolate swirls and sprinkles, and all in all delicious. I arrived at school to see my locker all decorated and pretty (thanks you guys!) and a nice additional stash of candy at the bottom. While standing in the hallway waiting for my English teacher to show up for first period, my friend comes up to give me a hug and wish me a happy birthday. The hallway suddenly erupts in a chorus of “Happy Birthday”s from my classmates, who, coincidently, have been standing there for the past five minutes xD English passes uneventfully, not including the joking comment of a classmate who proposes that we throw a party instead of continuing with project presentations. Second period is my free period Fridays, so I make my way to the Cafeteria to take over for two Club Fair tables. While there, I coerce my brother into signing up for the club of which I am VP. Then I coerce him to watch the table and attract more new members while I man the other table. All in all, it was pretty fun, and I got to just talk and hang out with a lot of people. (Lunch passes in the same manner later.)

The rest of day proceeds well. I stop numerous times to thank friends and wish others a happy birthday (I share my birthday with about seven other people in my grade.) After school, I am surprised by the sheer number of people in the locker room who wish me a happy birthday. Not only the Varsity, but the JV and Freshmen all greet me. I am stunned that they even knew it was my birthday. (Of course, it might have something to do with being a captain, and that the JV coach’s birthday is on the same day. xP) Anyway, when I walk into the gym, I see that the gym has been decorated, and that there is a sign with my name on it. Words cannot describe my emotions at that point. I love my team so much!

After volleyball practice, the coach and I take swings at a pinata in the shape of a referee. Although I give it a couple good whacks, the darn thing doesn’t break. It does, however, fall off the string from the force of my swing sporting several cracks. Still no sign of candy. Hm…

It is resolved that the coach and I try to pull him in half. I tug its left arm off. Whoops, there goes that plan. Finally, the coach gets a brilliant idea: she smashes the mutilated ref onto the floor. Finally, the goodies pour out. I scramble away from the sudden onslaught of eager hands. After changing, one of my teammates confesses to me that they had to. er…”break into my locker” to shove the candy inside. Later, another teammate tells me in detail how the deed was pulled off. I feel very safe knowing that they can pull out the frame of my locker.

My parents take me out to dinner Friday night, and my friends claim dibs on the Saturday. My friends refused to let me see the bill, and leave the last bite of the brownie for me. We had from the usual girl talk to  reminiscing. I am reminded of how content it feels just to relax and hang out with my friends, which is increasingly hard to do as studying, volleyball, and college apps eat up my time. And then, before we knew it, two hours had passed. Ah, good times.

Whew, thanks for sticking around until the end, if you are still reading at this point, and putting up with my blabbering. xD

And one more time: Happy Birthday Tin! You’re exactly one day shy of a year older than me! ^^

Ive spent at least half a day on this blog, trying layout after layout. This should be my 4th. Grrr. And I spent a lot of time customizing each too - before throwing it out, that is. Yay for that. Time well spent. ><

I’ve frankly never been much of a blogger, but I’m considering starting [again]. It should be a good stress reliever. Im just not sure how smart it’d be to split my soul in front of everyone. =/
