Sorry, this is not an update. xP We were astounded by the amount of people who commented on Beauty Pop in the chatbox, so to clear things up once and for all, we're releasing this statement. All chapters of Beauty Pop are CORRECT. Chapter 35 is linked up correctly; check the credits, if you don't believe us. We're guessing that most of you haven't come to this site for a while so you've missed the statements in our earlier updates, so here's the story: Some unofficial releases --"chapters 31-34"--were accidently leaked early. Containing this incidence was somewhat trying, so we have avoided talking about the circumstances directly. The truth is that certain hosting sites refused to take down the false releases despite our pleads; thus, the unofficial chapters-in-progress were exposed to a lot of people. However, those chapters were still undergoing final touches; most importantly, they were misnumbered--hence the chapter number confusion. Everything has been set straight now with the chapters. Chapter 35 is chapter 35. We urge everyone to re-download the correct chapters from chapters 31-35! If you're one of the people who have discovered that "chapter 34" is the same as chapter 35, then you're probably missing chapter 31. ^^ Thanks to everyone for all of their wonderful support! What alarmed us most about the false release incident was not that the files went out early (it was an unfortunate slight that we did not know such a thing could happen) but rather the discovery of several sites that not only host without our knowledge or consent, but that they clearly don't care when ambiguous chapters are uploaded. Chapters 31-34 of Beauty Pop have not been released (see Update 01/20/08) and we ask that you please stop spreading those files around and wait for the correct release. There won't be any Online Reading available until after 3 days, but downloads will be hosted on the site for a while in addition to in the forum. Tsuki no Shippo - chapters 29-31 Also, we would like to address the issue with the false Beauty Pop report, regarding chapters 31-34. We did not release these chapters. To clear up any confusion, MangaUpdates listed a false release the other day (through no fault of their own; furthermore, that situation has been remedied). Enchantment Scans would never release a series out of order like that. In addition, if the release is not updated on the site or in the forum, then it is not true In a scanlation group, it is expected that chapters will be finished editing in advance of the release, and it just so happened that those chapters were finished ahead of their previous chapters. It is not our intention to "withold" those chapters at all--speaking of which, those chapters have mistakes that need to be fixed as well, so they are not ready for the final release anyway. If you currently have those chapters, we urge you to re-download the correct releases when they come out. Also, please do not distribute those files--you will not being doing fans a service by sharing those flawed chapters. If you reported that release to M-U with the intention keeping the rest of the community up-to-date-- rest assured that if we update, we will be the first to report the relase to M-U. We would also like to remind uploaders to please ask us for permission before distributing our files--the reason being that we have a release policy that we would like you to observe, and that some of our projects are licensed and we do not want those files going everywhere without our knowledge or consent.
